For the landmark 75th volume of the Indiana Law Journal, Director of the Law Library at Indiana--Bloomington Colleen Kristl Pauwels traced the history of law journals generally and the history of the Indiana Law Journal.  Founded originally as a joint publication with the Indiana Bar Association, Pauwels details the yeoman's effort of then-Dean Charles M. Hepburn in fostering the Journal's creation.  She tracks the growth of the Journal, its struggles with funding and resulting delays through the 1980s, and highlights some of the ILJ's seminal articles, including the article by Robert Bork that served as a primary exhibit in Judge Bork's 1987 confirmation hearings.
